Taco Fest

Taco Fest, originally created because of a racist comment, has evolved into an anti-racism fundraiser for Zavala Hispanic Initiative, a local non-profit that empowers the Hispanic community and others, by providing educational, cultural and leadership opportunities to the community. Taco Fest provides a fun and unifying environment that promotes racial equality in Wichita Falls, TX. Taco Fest promotes local taco vendors and authentic food. Come enjoy a wide range of tacos from different regions and taco contests that unify the audience. Funds raised by Taco Fest will go to scholarships for students from Wichita Falls and the surrounding areas who strive to continue their education. Funds raised also go to educational programs that serve the diverse youth in Wichita Falls, TX.
